What is the music like?
We have a contemporary style of music during our worship time, with an occasional hymn or traditional song.
What should I wear?
We do not have a dress code; we want everyone to feel welcome regardless of what they have to wear. Casual attire is fine.
Do I have to give an offering?
First-time guests are not expected to give money, but are invited to our hospitality area for a free gift!
Who serves in the Children’s Ministries?
All of our children’s ministries are run by a mix of staff and volunteers. Each adult volunteer is an active attender and member of Island Christian Church and a follower in Jesus. All volunteers undergo a screening process, which includes a background check, before serving in any ministry to children. We also have many teens that serve the kids. These teens are active attenders of both church and youth group and are under the care of our youth pastor.
What time do services start?
We have two services, starting at 9:00AM & 11:00AM.
Do you have activities for the whole family?
Yes! We have Sunday school for children, grades K-High School, in the 9AM/11AM services and wonderful nursery and toddler facilities. We also have a “Mommy and Me” Infant Nursing Room located on the lower level of the building, directly across from the nursery. It is equipped with rocking chairs and a changing table. It also has a closed-circuit TV so you won’t have to miss the service.
