Here at Island Christian Church, every believer can grow to maturity more consistently when they choose to belong to a small group. Small groups are the basic units for Christian community. They are places where, with Christ at the center, we interact with God’s truth, enjoy fellowship, reach others with the Gospel, and support one another in practical ways and in prayer.
Our small group ministry is designed to meet people where they are in their Christian life. Whether you need a support group, are interested in taking an adult Bible class, want to engage in personal discipleship or would like to join a group that is studying a particular topic, you will find an opportunity to connect with others and help you grow in your faith.View Current Groups Support and Recovery

SMALL GROUPS AT ICC
These small groups, led by lay leaders, meet weekly or bi-weekly from house to house. These groups often discuss the Sunday message and its application to daily life. The format includes fellowship, worship, prayer, and discussion. Want to find out more? Here’s a great article on what to expect from your small group.

Growth Groups and Classes:
In an effort to provide quality Bible instruction to equip adults to live out their faith in every area of their life, we offer a variety of growth groups and classes. Ministry components include the Wednesday evening Bible and equipping classes, Ladies Bible Class, Senior Adult Bible Study and Fellowship, and various topic-specific classes and groups in areas such as finances, Christian worldview, world missions, and personal growth.
We value in-depth week-to-week opportunities to hear, study and apply God’s word. We promote teaching that gives adult believers the knowledge and skills to study and apply the Scriptures on their own. We believe that learning in a setting with skilled and called teachers, side-by-side with other believers creates a great environment for personal growth.
If you are a new believer or seeker, we encourage you to take Elements of Christian Living (a four-week introduction to the Bible and the Christian faith) and/or Starting Point (a personal growth-oriented study for those who are new to the faith or returning to active participation in the church).
No matter where you are on your journey with Christ, there is room to grow and new things to learn: “Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:9-10)
