Ladies Bible Study is Back at Island Christian Church

EAST NORTHPORT, N.Y., AUGUST 20, 2015: Island Christian Church will be reintroducing Ladies Bible Study Classes this fall. The classes are offered at both the Northport campus in the morning and the Port Jefferson campus in the evening.

Beginning on September 22nd, Ladies Bible Study takes place every Tuesday throughout the school year. The Northport class is held from 9:30 to 11:15 am and the Port Jefferson class is 7 to 9 pm. Online registration is available, along with the availability to purchase the required $18 member book.

“Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent” by Beth Moore runs through December 8th. Each week, ladies will be immersed in worship, prayer in small groups, a video lesson by Beth Moore, and a group discussion. Through this 7-session study, explore the major feasts of Israel and journey with Beth to learn from these treasured psalms. The Northport location offers free nursery school for preschoolers while mothers attend bible study. Join Island Christian Church and fellow ladies of Christ each week on this journey in faith! Start making steps towards greater intimacy with God this September.

The community at Island Christian Church is pursuing the kind of Church life set forth in Scripture. The foundations of this church are Spirit-led worship, relevant teaching, authentic relationships, unceasing prayer and compassionate provision for the needy. We hope you will join us as we strive to demonstrate a compelling faith that will touch the lives of individuals within our large communities.
