Rev. Seth Kirschner - March 3, 2019
Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
<> Scripture––Matthew 6:9-11 <> Application––• How did the message speak to you? What was a specific take-away that you had? • Dr. Martyn-Lloyd-Jones said, "The one thing that is important when we pray anywhere is that we must realize we are approaching God. That is the one thing that matters...If only we would realize that we are approaching God, everything else would be alright." Why is this so important? • In the message we looked at the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 16), the prophet Elijah in the Keith Ravine (1 Kings 17) and George Mueller as examples of God's miraculous provision. Share you story of Go's provision in your life. • If God already knows what we need, why pray? (How can any relationship thrive without communication? It's for us to realize that we are needy, it's an act of humility that says, "God I can't do this on my own, I need you.")
