Jesus: On Judging
<> Scripture– Matthew 7 <> Application– What are ways that this issue of judging has been present in your life? In what ways did this message help you with distinguishing judging from discerning? Would you say your natural tendency is to be quick to judge or conversely too quick to affirm what God does not accept or to just be silent when you probably should say something? The idea of "restoration" (the same word used in Greek means to mend, or to set a bone that has been broken): How does that inform your way as you relate to to other believers?
From Series: "The Path"
The most famous sermon every preached--Jesus' Sermon on the Mount--is a concentrated teaching from the Son of God Himself of what righteous living looks like. It's not a jumble of rules to try to get us to the Lord, but a pathway we walk with the Lord sustained by His grace and guided by His truth.
