Luminescence (Missions Weeks--Light to the World)
Scripture--Philippians 2:12-30 Application-- ● If a 100 watt lightbulb is a truly God-glorifying Christian, and a 15 watt bulb is a very dim one, what wattage would you place on yourself today? How would that differ from a year ago? ● If luminous Christians define their success by the success of those they love and lead, who falls into that category in your life? Would you say they are “successful” in the ways that God defines success? What ministry toward them is God calling you to? ● ...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. (v. 12-13) How does this verse inspire action on your part? How does it put into perspective our responsibility toward others that we are ministering to?
