Message: “Walking with Jesus in My Workplace” from Rev. Michael O’Connor

Rev. Michael O'Connor - March 1, 2020

Walking with Jesus in My Workplace

Walking with Jesus in My Workplace

<> Scripture--1 Peter 2:18-25 <> Application-- ● If you are working, how is your workplace similar and how is it different from the one described in this passage? ● These verses describe Jesus: 22 He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. 23 When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. Which of these attitudes is being tested most in your current work situation? ● Can you share a testimony of how God is using you among the people you work with? What are you praying about in this area?

From Series: "Hope Sustained--Purposeful Living in Chaotic Times"

The veteran Apostle Peter is writing to Christians of the first century to encourage their hope in the Lord. They certainly faced a hostile faith environment, and many were suffering. In addition, they needed instruction on how to live out their faith in the midst of marriage, family and workplace. Any of this sound familiar? God's timeless truth will establish your heart and confirm your faith.
