Nursery care is provided for our 8:30AM Sunday services. To help ensure a safe environment we have limited our nursery for the present time. Online signup is required as well as participation in our contactless check-in in the west lobby. At check-in, children’s temperatures will be scanned and parents asked to answer our health survey questions. Children will not be permitted into the nursery if they have a temperature of 100 degrees F or more, have symptoms of an illness, or have knowledge of being exposed to the COVID Virus in the past 14 days.
Our nursery supervisors and staff are committed to ministering to the families of the church by providing a safe, enjoyable environment and loving, personal care for your little ones. Each volunteer has their temperature scanned and affirms the COVID Questions before serving. Each adult volunteer is required to have a background check before serving. This ministry enables parents to participate in the church service without having to attend to the immediate needs of their children. Our well-child policy and thorough clean-up procedures ensure a healthy place for your children.
There is also an in-class sign-in sheet that provides our staff with information about the care and feeding needs of your child. At this time we ask that you only bring what is necessary for your child – no toys from home, please. You may bring pacifiers, bottles, and diapers. Your child’s personal items will be placed in a large ziplock bag upon arrival and to keep them clean until needed.
If your child or any family member in your home, experiences COVID or any other illness, please have them remain at home. If a child in the nursery shows any symptoms of illness, they will be separated from the other children while their parent is contacted. All parents will be notified of the potential exposure. All of your child’s belongings need to be clearly labeled with their name including any bottles or sippy cups. We can provide labels if necessary. If your child is potty trained, please bring them to the restroom prior to dropping them off in the nursery.
