Christian Service Brigade Pinewood Derby

26 boys made pinewood derby cars as a Brigade activity. After weeks of sanding, sculpting, painting and decorating, they were finally ready for the big race! Boys were encouraged to show good sportsmanship – win or lose – and to cheer for each other. The boys had a great night as they raced and advanced through the brackets. Many spectators cheered on the racers and everyone enjoyed race-themed snacks and hot dogs.  Awards were given for first, second and third place as well as an award for best looking car.
