Women are vital to the ministries of the church. The early church was radical in that it encouraged women to learn about theology and Jesus and deemed them as equal image-bearers of God, with distinct roles.
At Island Christian Church, we want women to embrace their role in the church, grow in their knowledge of the Bible and their love for Jesus, and connect and support each other. We have opportunities uniquely focused on women and their needs so that you can find a place to plug in and grow in your faith!

Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible study is available throughout the school year on Tuesday mornings 9:30 - 11:15 AM, beginning February 27th and Wednesday evenings 7 - 8:30 PM, beginning February 28th.

Retreats
A women’s retreat is a time of fellowship, growth, challenge, and fun.

All women (18+) are invited to come away for a wonderful time of refreshment, fun, fellowship, worship, teaching, and prayer! This is a great opportunity to get better acquainted with other women in our church.
Harvey Cedars Bible Conference Center is located on Long Beach Island, NJ, between the beautiful Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The facilities at Harvey Cedars provide for a relaxing weekend and include hotel-style rooms, a gift store, an indoor pool, and more!
