Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:

There’s nothing sweeter than knowing that Jesus loves you. All month long, we’ll explore Bible stories that show the kids just how much Jesus loves them. This Sunday we’ll look at the story of the lost sheep in Luke 15:3-7. The kids will learn that Jesus tells this story to show that He loves everyone like the shepherd loves his sheep. He sees us—no matter where we are or what we’ve done—and He seeks us out to bring us close to Him.

February memory verse: Jesus said, "Let the children come to me." Matthew 19:14 (NLT)

Island Kids 1st – 5th Grade:

This week, we’ll explore the most important commandment in Matthew 22:34-40. Several religious leaders try to trap Jesus with a trick question by asking Him to choose His top commandment so they can argue He picked the wrong one. We’ll revisit the original Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-21), along with the additional 603 laws and even more rules added by religious leaders. The kids will see that instead of debating, Jesus rolls everything into two simple commands: Love God. Love others.

This year, we are excited to be joined by a guest speaker, Jennifer Shaw. Jennifer is an award-winning speaker, bestselling author, and accomplished musician whose Christ-centered ministry has been featured by major Christian organizations, including Focus on the Family.

Come as you are and leave refreshed, renewed, and reconnected with friends old and new! This is a great opportunity to get better acquainted with other women in our church.

This is an incredible student conference put on by Stand To Reason Ministries, bringing in some of the top speakers and thinkers in Christianity. This conference not only helps our teens better understand WHAT they believe, but WHY they believe it. It doesn't merely teach them WHAT to think but HOW to think from a Biblical worldview. The focus of this year's conference is to help our teens defend the reliability of the Bible.
