ISLAND KIDS
Sunday at 8:30, 10:00 + 11:30 AM
Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:
This month, we’re helping kids discover that the world is full of things we can thank God for! This week’s Bible lesson is from Ruth 1–2. Naomi lost her husband and sons, so she returned home to Bethlehem. Her daughter-in-law Ruth chose to go with her, and together they cared for one another. Ruth worked in Boaz’s field, and Boaz chose to care for both Ruth and Naomi. Through their story, kids will learn that God gives us people to call family, and we can thank God for family. Our November memory verse is: “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart.” Psalm 111:1 (ESV)
Island Kids 1st – 5th Grade:
This month, we’re exploring the lives of Elijah, Jonah, Daniel, Esther, and Nehemiah. The kids will see how making choices that come from trusting God can change everything about the way they live. We start off with Elijah in 1 Kings 18:16-45. Our November memory verse is: “Those who trust in the Lord will receive new strength. They will fly as high as eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not grow weak.” Isaiah 40:31 (NIrV)

MEMBERSHIP
November 8 @ 9:00 AM
Do you consider this your home church? Do you want to find out what it means to be a member of Island Christian?
Join us on Saturday, November 8 at 9:00 AM for a morning of interactive discussion about joining our church.
Many times in the New Testament, the church is referred to as a body with each part being a member (Rom. 12:4, Eph. 3:6 and 4:25, Col. 3:15). Church membership affirms your commitment to a local church as part of the body of Christ. As Christians, we are called to live in community, and becoming a member is a great next step!

Pastor Appreciation Month
OCTOBER 2025
At Island Christian, we are abundantly blessed with the loving care and ministry of our faithful team of pastors. Each October, it has been our tradition to take time to thank and pray for our pastors. Whether it's a note, a dinner invite, a gift card, or your prayers, our pastors are sure to be blessed by your thoughtful gestures. Pick up a brochure and a prayer guide at the Connection Hub. This year, we will also be receiving a special offering to honor our pastors. You can give below from now until November 2.
