Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:

This month, our kids are learning that the world is full of things we can thank God for! This week, they’ll hear about Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Just like Daniel, we can thank God for good friends! Our November memory verse is: “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart.” Psalm 111:1 (ESV)

 

Island Kids 1st – 5th Grade:

This week’s lesson is about Jonah, a prophet who ran from God instead of trusting Him. After being swallowed by a giant fish, Jonah learned that God’s way is always best. Our November memory verse is: “Those who trust in the Lord will receive new strength. They will fly as high as eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not grow weak.” Isaiah 40:31 (NIrV)

Give Thanks To The Lord

November 26 @ 6:00 + 7:30 PM

Let's celebrate and be thankful for all God has done this year, at our annual Thanksgiving Eve Service. The service will be filled with worship, baptisms, testimonies, and an encouraging word. We will have two services this year on Wednesday, November 26th at 6:00 and 7:30 PM.

Nursery for up to 4 years old will be available at both service times.

Believer's Baptism

If you would like to publicly declare your faith in Jesus Christ by following His command to be baptized, we invite you to do so at one of our Thanksgiving Eve Services.

Baptism is a joyous, public proclamation of our faith in Christ. It is an outward act that testifies to what happened in our hearts when we repented of our sin and trusted Christ for our salvation. The picture of baptism is the dying to our old life and the beginning of our new resurrected life with Christ. In the New Testament, those coming to faith in Christ were baptized right away.
