Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:
This Sunday, we’ll look at the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11–32, where Jesus tells a story about a father who had saved a lot of money to give to his sons when they were much older. But the younger son takes his inheritance early and spends all his money. When he decides to return home, his father is so happy to see him that he runs to him, gives him a robe, a ring, and sandals to wear, and throws a big party! The older son is upset, but the father reminds him that he loves both his sons. The kids will learn that God loves us just like that father loved his sons and that He wants everyone to be a part of His kingdom.
Our June memory verse is: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 (NIV)
Island Kids 1st – 4th Grade:
Our lesson this Sunday comes from Luke 15:11–32, The Story of the Lost Son. The kids will learn that both the older son and the younger son in this story turned away from their Father’s love. Whether they have run from God through their actions or in their hearts, kids will discover that God will always welcome them home the moment they turn to Him because He wants everyone to be part of His kingdom!
An Exciting Next Step for Our 5th Graders!
This Sunday, we’ll celebrate the completion of our Alpha Youth program during the 10:00 and 11:30 AM services! We’ll talk with the kids about practical next steps in their faith journey as they prepare to join the main service in the Sanctuary on Move-Up Sunday, June 28.

Kids entering K-6th grade are invited to join us for a tree-mendous time as we step through mist into Rainforest Falls to explore the wonderful and powerful nature of God, our creator, a forever safe place in life's storms! Come discover how to stay rooted in His mighty love!
We’ll have a great time with all of the things that make VBS so much fun: joyful worship, exciting skits, creative crafts, high-energy games, life-changing Bible-time stories, yummy snacks, and of course, our VBS Summer fair on Friday night! VBS sign-up closes on 7/6.

YOUTH SUMMER KICK OFF

We plan to kick off the summer of 2026 with lots of fun, great food, deep connections, and intentional time to help our teens discover and go deeper in their Christian faith. Quite simply, our goal is to help teens make their faith their own! Our special guest speaker, Tim Barnett — also known as “Mr. B” from Red Pen Logic on YouTube — helps teens think clearly, respond graciously, and stand courageously for their faith.
