Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:

This Sunday, the kids will hear the story of the widow who would not give up in asking a judge for help (Luke 18:1-8). Jesus wants us to know that God is not like the judge in the story. God is good and always cares for His people. We’re teaching the kids that we can pray and talk to God, never give up, and He will help us.

Our July memory verse is: "Put God’s kingdom first.” Matthew 6:33 (NIrV)
 

Island Kids 1st – 5th Grade:

This Sunday's lesson comes from Luke 18:1–8 – The Story of the Persistent Widow. Like the woman in this story, we are called to keep asking God for what we need and stay connected to Him, even when we don’t get the answer right away. God is good, and He is kind. He’s nothing like the evil judge in the story, and that’s good news! Through this lesson, the kids will learn that God’s kingdom grows when you pray and don’t give up.

Our July memory verse is: “God’s kingdom is not about eating or drinking. It is about doing what is right and having peace and joy. All this comes through the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17 (NIrV)
