Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:

This Sunday, our lesson comes from Genesis 1:27 and Psalm 139:13–14, where the kids will learn that they are wonderfully made! Through this teaching, the kids will discover that God made every part of us—from the tops of our heads to our wiggly toes. But God didn't make us all the same. He made each of us unique and special. Every single person they meet is wonderfully made because we are all made by God.

Our August memory verse is: “How you made me is amazing and wonderful.” Psalm 139:14 (NIrV)
 

Island Kids 1st – 5th Grade:

We'll look at Ephesians 2:10 and 1 Timothy 4:12 this Sunday. Through these Scriptures, the kids will learn that God made each one of us for the same purpose—to love Him and love others. But God created each of us to do that in a different way. They'll also learn that they don't have to wait until they are older to shine God's light and live out the purpose He has for them.

WOWEE!

Each year at VBS, we build in a global emphasis, so our kids get to see how far the impact of the Gospel actually reaches. This year's offering was received to help build an orphanage in Nepal, in partnership with Messiah's Outreach. Our goal was to raise $10,000. As of today, you all have given $14,484!

Thank you so much for your generous partnership, which is creating tangible impact for kids halfway around the world. Thank you for giving so joyfully, and for trusting God with more than we asked for. We are excited to see how God uses it!
