Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:
This Sunday, the kids will be learning that they are very important to God! We’ll explore Psalm 139:1–4 and Matthew 6:26; 10:30, 42, where they’ll see just how well God knows and cares for each of us. God knows when we sit down and when we get up, He knows where we go, and He even knows what we’re going to say before we speak! He knows each of our names and even how many hairs are on our heads. Jesus reminds us that if God cares for the birds, how much more does He care for us? Our hope is that each child leaves knowing this truth: God knows everything about them, and they are important to Him!
Our August memory verse is: “How you made me is amazing and wonderful.” Psalm 139:14 (NIrV)
Island Kids 1st – 5th Grade:
Our Bible lesson this Sunday comes from John 4—the story of the Woman at the Well. This week, the kids will discover that every person is made in God’s image and that Jesus loves and values everyone—even those who look, believe, or act differently than we do. Jesus loved the Samaritan woman at the well, and He loves every single person we will ever meet.

HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE
September 8 @ 6:30PM
Do you ever wish you could open your Bible and understand it well on your own? This class teaches you how to read the Bible for yourself using a simple, time-tested framework popularized by Howard Hendricks: Observation, Interpretation, and Application. You'll learn how to slow down and notice what the text actually says, uncover what it truly means, and apply it to your everyday life. We'll also cover practical tools, such as choosing a Bible translation and using helpful study resources along the way. Walk away equipped to study Scripture with confidence, on your own, anytime you open it. Dinner will be provided!

Helping Hand Rescue Mission
Back to School Outreach
Each year, Helping Hand Rescue Mission provides backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of local children. This year, they are also including a Family Hygiene Bag for every family that attends. These bags would contain practical essentials that many families struggle to afford. While school supplies help children succeed in the classroom, these hygiene items help families maintain dignity and stability at home.
Let’s join in with what God is doing through Helping Hands this August. Together, we can help ensure that children not only begin the school year prepared academically, but that their families have some of the essential resources they need as well.
