Island Kids 2s & 3s and 4s & 5s:

All month long, the kids have been learning just how much Jesus loves them. This Sunday in John 8, we’ll hear about a time when people wanted to punish a woman for doing wrong. Jesus told them that anyone without sin could punish her, and one by one, they all walked away. Jesus shows us that God sent Him to love and forgive us, because Jesus loves us no matter what!

February memory verse: Jesus said, "Let the children come to me." Matthew 19:14 (NLT)

Island Kids 1st – 5th Grade:

We wrap up the month with two powerful stories of Jesus healing in Mark 5:21–43. Jairus, a synagogue leader, begs Jesus to heal his gravely ill daughter. While Jesus is on the way, a desperate woman with a chronic illness pushes through the crowd to touch His robe and is instantly healed. Jesus doesn’t discriminate between the wealthy and the outcast; instead, He responds to anyone in need. Through these stories, the kids will learn to show the love of Jesus to people in need.

March 13-15

This is an incredible student conference put on by Stand To Reason Ministries, bringing in some of the top speakers and thinkers in Christianity. This conference not only helps our teens better understand WHAT they believe, but WHY they believe it. It doesn't merely teach them WHAT to think but HOW to think from a Biblical worldview. The focus of this year's conference is to help our teens defend the reliability of the Bible.
